Break out of the mental health MATRIX.
AN ALTERNATIVE APPROACH TO UNDERSTANDING YOUR MENTAL HEALTH THAT GOES DEEPER THAN THERAPY.
WELCOME TO THE NEW AGE OF consciousness
The Western mental health system is broken. A standard of care that touts its success in being readily available to treat the collective and yet, with such accessible interventions, our collective health and well-being is suffering.
We as a collective are finally questioning what we’ve been told to believe regarding our health and healing. No longer are the standard care practices of diagnosis, proverbial band-aids and medication management sufficient.
It is time for a paradigm shift.
The body only knows how to move towards healing and homeostasis. After a physical injury, you don’t consciously instruct your body to initiate the systems needed for repair. The process naturally happens on its own.
And it continues on its own.
Our response to pain, trauma, and emotional difficulty is no different. Each of us holds the innate capacity to understand ourselves, develop ourselves, and heal ourselves.
Everything you need for that transformation is inside of you.
Our work is to help you connect to that.
Hi, I’m Megan
I’m Megan Zuzevich, a trauma informed coach and formally trained clinical trauma therapist. Over my eight years of clinical work, I continue to see a model of care being offered to the collective that I believe is making us sicker.
The Western, mental health model is structured in a paradigm of understanding symptoms to meet diagnostic criteria. Consistently looking for what is wrong, without addressing the root cause. Treating with pharmaceuticals that long term research demonstrates causes more harm to our body than good.
My professional, post-graduate experiences introduced me to a variety of literature, research, philosophies, and modalities that offered alternative practices of healing to what my formal training provided.
The one thing they all had in common?
An understanding that our bodies are innate ecosystems and our “symptoms” are part of our healing process.
It’s time for another way. One that honors Truth, the wisdom of our body and the wisdom of our spirit. Not a diagnosis and medication to band-aid the symptoms.
If you’re feeling the call to explore a new lens and understanding of healing, I invite you to join us for an inner experience that will connect you to the innate wisdom that lives within.
We are entering a new age.
A new age of consciousness and understanding of our innate healing capacity.
Collective reprocessing: A NEW Framework for EMDR THERAPY
Throughout my professional career, I have paid special attention to trauma work. When I began practicing EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with first responders, I began to notice something amazing happen; spontaneous archetypal images began to emerge from the unconscious. I made it my mission to understand what was happening and how these moments of spontaneous imagery provided the significant clinical impact they did. Traditional long term, weekly sessions weren’t needed. Clients were accessing significant information from within and using that information to make massive shifts in their life.
Inspired by the work of Carl Jung, I dove deep into understanding Eastern philosophies, spirituality, and the unconscious. According to Carl Jung, consciousness is that which we are able to consciously recall about our external and internal worlds. Two unconscious minds act as warehouses of limitless information. The first unconscious mind, our Personal Unconscious, is where our unique, individual experiences in this lifetime are held. The second unconscious mind, our Collective Unconscious, holds ancestral memories and experiences that are common to all humankind. It is made up of a collection of knowledge and imagery that every person is born with and is shared by all. In moments of crisis, it’s believed we can tap into its whirlpool of information (that present itself as images, sounds, felt-sensations, etc.).
With the research we now have about the somatic and energetic impact of trauma and the emergence of long-term studies that demonstrate the true risks pharmaceuticals provide, I believe the standard practice of traditional talk therapy and pharmaceuticals to treat our mental health and well-being is unethical.
It is time for a new lens, a new approach.
One that honors the innate wisdom within and that allows us as a collective to come together to dismantle our conditioning with curiosity.

AWAKEN YOUR UNCONSCIOUS PROGRAMMING THROUGH shadow work and neuroscience
Mainstream mental health reinforces a single biological theory that states mental illness is due to biological imbalances and inconsistencies that can only be addressed through talk therapy and pharmaceuticals.
Shadow work is the way to personal liberation and an essential, unacknowledged journey in traditional Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Rather than viewing our experience from strictly a biological lens, the unconscious psyche holds the information we need to heal and transmute our experiences. Within the Personal Unconscious reside various parts of ourselves, that have been unacknowledged, including the parts that have been repressed due to pain. Within the Collective Unconscious, messengers guide us through transmuting ancestral patterns and trauma.
Repression is an innate safety mechanism within us. It allows us to forget the things that have caused us significant pain and the originating desires and impulses that led to such pain.
It is a perfect system that honors survival.
However, these survival reactions become automatic responses, if unobserved and integrated. They become automatic and reactive, reinforcing the neural communication that occurs each time the stimulus-reaction takes place.
When we intentionally work with the laws of our physiology including how memories are created and stored, we have the ability to tap into innate knowledge that resides within us. When we work with brain functions like schemas, recall, assimilation, and neuroplasticity, we allow ourselves to not only recall what holds in our unconscious, we are able to rewire the neural circuitry that continues to support and reinforce such learning and patterns of behavior that have come to be from that initial understanding.
Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will forever direct your life and you will call it fate.
An integrative approach that combines neuroscience principles, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and energetics, Collective Reprocessing is a method that allows us to access alternative layers of consciousness and tap into the innate knowledge that resides within us. Rooted in Carl Jung’s teachings of the unconscious, Collective Reprocessing allows us to see what meaning has been applied to our various life experiences, how these experiences are stored in connection to each other, and how this information is unconsciously interacting with and informing the present.
Additional information on EMDR and my method can be found here.
TRAUMA INFORMED UNCONSCIOUS WORK
Ethically working with the unconscious and its patterns means that I am competent in trauma-informed evidence based practices and operate from a place of responsibility and ownership to ensure doing no harm. This work takes us to some of the most intimate spaces within your unconscious and it is an honor to be a part of that journey. Because of this, each and every interaction in my practice is rooted in:
Integrity
Compassion
Respect
THE COLLECTIVE IMPACT
My favorite part of this work is what I refer to as the ripple. The positive impacts that others experience as a result of
you making the choice to heal.
Your children.
Your family.
Your ancestors.
Your friends.
Your community.
Your coworkers.
Your students.
Your mentors.
